AWS::IoTSiteWise::Workspace EncryptionConfiguration

Specifies the encryption configuration to apply to the workspace, including whether to use the default AWS IoT SiteWise key or a customer managed AWS KMS key.

Syntax

To declare this entity in your CloudFormation template, use the following syntax:

Properties

EncryptionType

The encryption scheme for the workspace. Valid values:

  • SITEWISE_DEFAULT_ENCRYPTION – Encrypts data with the AWS IoT SiteWise default key.

  • KMS_BASED_ENCRYPTION – Encrypts data with the customer managed AWS KMS key identified by KmsKeyId.

Required: Yes

Type: String

Allowed values: SITEWISE_DEFAULT_ENCRYPTION | KMS_BASED_ENCRYPTION
