Adding a text widget to a CloudWatch dashboard

To add a text widget to a dashboard

  1. Open the CloudWatch console at https://eusc-de-east-1.console.amazonaws-eusc.eu/cloudwatch/.

  2. In the navigation pane, choose Dashboards, and then choose a dashboard.

  3. Choose the + symbol.

  4. Choose Text.

  5. For Markdown, add and format your text using Markdown and choose Create widget.

  6. To make the text widget transparent, choose Transparent background.

  7. Choose Save dashboard.
