Enabling AWS DevOps Agent from your AWS Support Center Console

Enabling AWS DevOps Agent from the Support Center Console creates an agent space and the AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) resources required by the agent and its operator web app. Activation runs in the US East (N. Virginia) (us-east-1) Region.

To enable AWS DevOps Agent

  1. Sign in to the AWS Support Center Console.

  2. Navigate to your Support plan management page.

  3. On the AWS DevOps Agent card, choose Enable.

  4. In the activation dialog, review the description, choose Enable DevOps Agent, and then choose Save.

Activation includes the following four phases:

  • Setting up monitoring permissions

  • Creating the agent space

  • Setting up operator access

  • Connecting the agent to your AWS account

When activation completes, you can open the AWS DevOps Agent web app from the success message link, or anytime from the AWS Management Console.
