Setting up AWS End User Messaging Social

Before you can use AWS End User Messaging Social for the first time, you must complete the following steps.

Sign up for an AWS account

To get started with AWS, you need an AWS account. For information about creating an AWS account, see Getting started with an AWS account in the AWS Account Management Reference Guide.

Service availability

WhatsApp Business messaging through AWS End User Messaging Social is not available to customers located in China. Customers located in China cannot link a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) to AWS End User Messaging Social.
