Launching RCS in Peru

Important

RCS in Peru is available only to businesses with a local presence in Peru. International companies without Peruvian operations or a locally-registered entity cannot register for RCS in Peru.

To launch your AWS RCS Agent in Peru, submit a country launch registration using the PE_RCS_LAUNCH_REGISTRATION registration type. Peru uses the standard baseline registration form. For the baseline fields, see Standard country launch registration.

Local presence requirement

Peru's carrier (Entel) only supports locally-registered RCS agents. Your business must have a local presence in Peru to be eligible for RCS messaging.

  • No additional documentation is required beyond the standard registration form — the local presence restriction is validated during carrier review.

  • If your business does not have Peruvian operations or a locally-registered entity, your registration will be denied.

Note

There are no additional documents to upload for Peru. However, if your business is not locally registered in Peru, your registration will not be approved.
