Managing subscriptions with auto-renewal
You monitor and manage renewals from Manage subscriptions.
In the list view, two columns describe each agreement's renewal state, and you can filter on both:
-
At expiration – what happens when the agreement reaches its end date: Auto-renews, Converts to public offer, or Access ends.
-
Renewal status – Auto-renew enabled, Opted out, Seller opted out, No renewal terms, or Renewal limit reached (the agreement has reached its renewal maximum and will not renew again).
Hovering over Auto-renew enabled in the Renewal status column shows a snapshot of the terms the agreement will renew to.
Choose an agreement to open it. The agreement has two renewal-related tabs.
-
Renewal details – shows the terms for the next cycle: renewal pricing (same price or an uplift), price uplift, renewal maximum, and renewal decision deadline. For percentage-range pricing, it also shows the price uplift range, the default uplift (the percentage applied if the seller does not finalize a value by the adjustment deadline), the adjustment deadline, and the final uplift value, which shows Pending until the seller finalizes it and then Finalized. This tab also includes a renewal pricing preview that shows contract dimension pricing with the configured uplift applied to the first renewal cycle.
-
Renewal history – shows all past and upcoming offers and agreements in this renewal chain, in order. Only the next projected renewal cycle is shown, regardless of how many future cycles may be scheduled. Because a new agreement ID is created each time an agreement renews, the Renewal history tab is the best way to see every offer and agreement across the chain.
