Reviewing and opting in when you accept an offer
You can see which offers include auto-renewal before you accept, and choose your preference during acceptance.
On the Private offers page, the Available offers tab includes an Auto-renewal column that shows whether each offer includes renewal terms: Available or Not available. This shows availability only, not your opt-in status.
Open the offer to review it. When an offer includes auto-renewal, the procurement page shows an Auto-renewal section with terms.
The renewal terms shown depend on the renewal pricing type. For a price uplift with a range, they include:
-
Renewal pricing – for example, Price uplift – range.
-
Price uplift – the allowed range, for example, 0% – 20%.
-
Renewal count – how many times the agreement renews before it ends, for example, 2.
-
Renewal decision deadline – the last day you can change your auto-renewal preference, for example, 10 days before agreement expiration.
-
Default uplift – the percentage applied if the seller does not finalize a value by the adjustment deadline, for example, 5%.
-
Adjustment deadline – the date by which the seller finalizes the exact uplift, for example, 15 days before agreement expiration.
For a fixed price uplift, you see the fixed percentage instead of a range, with no default uplift or adjustment deadline. For no price uplift, the agreement renews at the same price and no uplift fields appear.
If the offer has a payment schedule, a renewal payment schedule preview shows the schedule that applies if you opt in.
Under Auto-renewal preferences, choose the renewal option for your contract:
-
Automatically renew this contract when it expires
-
Do not automatically renew this contract
You can opt in or opt out during initial acceptance, and you can change that preference any time before the renewal decision deadline from the Manage subscriptions page.
