OpenSearch UI now supports customer managed keys (CMK) for encrypting application metadata. This feature helps you meet regulatory and compliance requirements by giving you full control over encryption keys. This launch also increases the metadata size limit for saved objects in OpenSearch UI, enabling you to create and store complex queries, extensive visualizations, and large-scale workspaces. OpenSearch UI now works with cross-cluster search. This makes it possible for you to use OpenSearch UI in one AWS Region to access clusters in a different Region.
