Amazon Redshift will no longer support the creation of new Python UDFs starting Patch 198. Existing Python UDFs will continue to function until June 30, 2026. For more information, see the blog post .

Modifying the manual snapshot retention period

You can change the retention period for a manual snapshot by modifying the snapshot settings.

To change the manual snapshot retention period

  1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon Redshift console at https://eusc-de-east-1.console.amazonaws-eusc.eu/redshiftv2/.

  2. On the navigation menu, choose Clusters, Snapshots, then choose the manual snapshot to change.

  3. For Actions, choose Manual snapshot settings to display the properties of the manual snapshot.

  4. Enter the revised properties of the snapshot definition, then choose Save.
