Verify and Troubleshoot KMS key permissions

After enabling encryption on a Kinesis stream, we recommend that you monitor the success of your putRecord, putRecords, and getRecords calls using the following Amazon CloudWatch metrics:

  • PutRecord.Success

  • PutRecords.Success

  • GetRecords.Success
