Auto-renewal for private offers - AWS Marketplace
Services or capabilities described in AWS documentation might vary by Region. To see the differences applicable to the AWS European Sovereign Cloud Region, see the AWS European Sovereign Cloud User Guide.

Auto-renewal for private offers

When you accept a private offer that includes auto-renewal terms, your agreement renews automatically at its end date so your software or service continues without interruption. The seller defines the renewal terms: how the price carries forward, how many times the agreement can renew, and the date by which you can change your decision. You can opt in or opt out when you accept the offer, and you can change that preference any time before the renewal decision deadline. No action is required for a renewal to proceed; you only need to act if you want to opt out.

If a seller does not set renewal terms on a private offer, the offer has no auto-renewal, and the agreement ends at its expiration date or moves to public pricing, depending on the product type.

Note

Auto-renewal is available only for private offers that use contract pricing. The renewal decision deadline is the last day you can opt in or out before the upcoming cycle renews automatically. If the seller sets no renewal decision deadline, you can change your preference until the agreement expiration date.
